
KFUM Uppsala Naginata
KFUM Uppsala Naginata was founded in 1997 by Mikael Tagai. He led the practice until 2002, when the responsibility was handed over to Kirsi Nording Cronsten.
The club offers practice four classes a week – for youngsters (11-15 years), for elderly people (65 + years), for adult beginners and for advanced students (all ages).

Budohuset is a martial arts and cultural center located in Uppsala operated by KFUM Uppsala. It serves as a hub for various traditional and modern martial arts, offering a space for personal development, physical training, and community engagement.
KFUM Uppsala is the Uppsala office is part of the Swedish branch of the global YMCA and YWCA movements.
The organisation is non-profit, politically neutral, and religiously inclusive, welcoming all people regardless of background. Its core philosophy is summed up in the ”Body, Mind, Spirit” approach, focusing on holistic development .
